Dr. John J. Fakhouri is a compassionate chiropractor who brings both personal experience and professional expertise to his practice. Originally from New Jersey, he relocated to Florida in 2010 to work for the federal government. His journey toward chiropractic care began after experiencing a CrossFit-related injury while he was in law school. He was left suffering from significant and constant pain and no one could offer relief until a friend referred him to a chiropractor. The care he received not only alleviated his pain but also inspired a complete career shift. Dr. Fakhouri earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Keiser University College of Chiropractic Medicine, graduating with honors in 2022.
At his core, Dr. Fakhouri is dedicated to helping others heal through natural, drug-free methods. He specializes in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, providing personalized treatment plans focused on spinal adjustments, extremity care, and rehabilitation. With a strong belief in the power of chiropractic care, Dr. Fakhouri takes pride in educating his patients throughout the entire process. He enjoys building meaningful connections with those he treats and is committed to restoring health and balance in their lives.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Fakhouri enjoys relaxing at the beach, staying active, and continuing his education to keep up with the latest advancements in chiropractic care.
Dorina Kordunova, a registered dietitian dedicated to helping people feel their best through personalized, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle guidance. My nontraditional path into the profession has shaped a unique perspective rooted in empathy, curiosity, and real-life experience.
When I was 20, I experienced some challenging gastrointestinal issues that really impacted my life. I quickly realized how powerful nutrition can be in managing health and wellness. That experience sparked my curiosity and inspired me to dive deeper into the world of food and its impact on the body.
At 27, I decided to go back to school to pursue a second degree in nutrition, followed by a master’s, all while balancing the realities of life. I completed my dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian, where I gained hands-on experience working with diverse patient populations in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, from clinical dietetics to wellness coaching and nutrition education. I’m also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). This breadth of experience has given me a well-rounded perspective, enabling me to tailor my advice to each individual’s unique story, lifestyle, and goals.
What truly drives me is helping others take control of their health by making nutrition approachable, sustainable, and empowering through an integrative and functional lens that considers the whole person. I believe every person deserves a personalized roadmap to wellness that fits their life and addresses root causes, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, navigating food sensitivities, or simply looking to feel better in your body, I’m here to help you find the path that’s right for you.
Let’s work together to build a vibrant, nourishing, and joyful relationship with food and health.
